Impact Crusher Operating principle:

Impact crusher is one type of high-efficiency crushing equipment. The ores enter the machine through the feeding port and then slide down. When the ores are crushed by the high-speed rotary hard-alloy hammer,the impact plate will be stricked back by the ore. After the primary crushing, the ores will be crushed to the ones with certain particle size, which will be sent to the crusher for the secondary crushing. 

When the impact crusher works, the motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed. The hammer is installed on the rotor. When the materials get into the area where the hammers take effect, under the impact role of the hammer at a high speed, the materials are thrown to the impact device above the rotor continuously and then the materials are rebounded from the impact liner to the area where the materials will be re-crushed. The materials of different particle sizes are to be crushed at the impact chamber repeatedly.
The process won’t stop until the materials are crushed to the required size and then discharged from outlet of the impact crusher.
