Drum screens are widely used in waste sorting technology. They control waste sorting by particle size, achieving high sorting accuracy. The drum of a drum screen is generally divided into several sections, depending on the specific situation. The screen holes are arranged from small to large, with each section having the same hole diameter.
Drum screens mainly consist of a motor, reducer, drum assembly frame, sealing cover, and inlet/outlet ports.
The drum screen is equipped with a plate-type cleaning mechanism. During the screening and grading process, regardless of how sticky, wet, or impure the rocks entering the separation screen are, the relative movement between the cleaning machine and the screen body prevents material from clogging the screen, thus improving the screening and grading efficiency of the machine.
Mechanical observation windows on both sides of the mechanically sealed dust collector cover allow operators to observe the machine's operation. Quick-opening maintenance doors are located at the end of the sealed cover and on the side of the cleaning machine mechanism, facilitating scheduled maintenance without affecting normal operation.
The vibrating screen structure of the drum sand screening equipment is designed within a sealed dust collector cover, solving the problem of pollution during operation and eliminating dust during the screening and grading process, thereby improving the working environment for workers.
During operation, the noise generated by the rocks and the running screen is isolated by the sealed dust collector cover, preventing the noise from being transmitted to the outside of the machine, thus reducing mechanical noise.
